Fast-rising Nigerian artist FOLA joins forces with Afrobeats superstar Kizz Daniel for their powerful new single “Lost”, out now via Dangbana Republik and Flyboy I.N.C. Produced by SBthaproducer (SB), the track marks FOLA’s first solo release of 2025 and the lead single from his upcoming project, while showcasing Kizz Daniel’s enduring hitmaking prowess.

“Lost” delivers a masterful blend of street-pop edge and Afrobeats melody, creating an emotionally charged anthem about heartbreak and self-discovery. FOLA’s raw, gritty vocals intertwine seamlessly with Kizz Daniel’s signature smooth delivery as they explore themes of vulnerability and mistrust through poignant lyrics like “Olo mi jo, shanu mi jo, malo damu mi jo, ’cause I’m really lost, I’ve seen it all”. The track’s infectious chorus has already sparked a viral wave on TikTok, with fans recreating its heartfelt hook.

“This collaboration means everything,” says FOLA. “Kizz Daniel is a legend who understood exactly what energy this song needed. When Wizkid vibed to it during our private listening session, we knew we had something special.”

The SB-produced instrumental provides the perfect foundation, combining rhythmic drums with soulful melodies that amplify the track’s emotional weight. The release follows FOLA’s standout features on Bella Shmurda’s “Dangbana Riddim” and Zlatan’s “Get Better”, further establishing the young artist as street-pop’s next major force.

Kizz Daniel brings his decade-spanning hitmaking experience to the collaboration, fresh off his 2024 viral single “Twe Twe” and the genre-blending “Police” with Angélique Kidjo and Johnny Drille.

With its immediate impact across streaming platforms and social media, “Lost” positions itself as a potential anthem for 2025, bridging street authenticity with mainstream appeal. The single offers an exciting preview of FOLA’s artistic evolution as he prepares his forthcoming project
