About FAVE:
From soul-baring lyrics to her hypnotic vocals, God’sfavour Ugochinyere Chidozie – known professionally as FAVE – is a trailblazing Nigerian pop artist whose music transcends genres and borders, masterfully blending Afrobeat, Jamaican dancehall, and contemporary pop to create an original, globally resonant style all her own. Growing up in both Lagos and Akwa-Ibom State, her early exposure to gospel music through her church choir upbringing laid the foundation for her diverse sound. In 2022, FAVE released her debut EP, Riddim 5, featuring hit singles like “Baby Riddim” and “Obsessed” which immediately established her as a powerful new voice in music. That same year saw FAVE honored with numerous accolades, including the coveted “Rookie of the Year” award at Nigeria’s The Headies as well as recognition as one of BET x Nissan Afrobeats Up Next stars, Spotify’s Equal Africa Ambassador, Apple Music’s “One To Watch,” and one of Audiomack’s “African Artists to Watch Out For.” FAVE has been on a whirlwind rise ever since, skillfully juggling the demands of finishing her law degree while simultaneously crafting Dutty Love and contributing to such hit tracks as Olamide’s “Want” and “Pon Pon,” Simi’s “Loyal,” Phyno’s “Deep,” and Davido’s “Kante,” the latter of which proved among Spotify’s Top 10 most-streamed song in Nigeria in 2023. 2025 kicked off with FAVE’s debut headline run, The Dutty Love Tour, which made sold-out stops throughout the US, the UK, and the EU. Now with new music on the horizon, FAVE inaugurates her much-anticipated next chapter, promising more greatness to come from the exceptionally gifted, one-of-a-kind songstress.
